A home energy assessment is the first step toward improving the energy efficiency of your home. An energy assessment generally consists of analysis of your home to determine its energy usage and costs as well as to identify specific energy efficiency projects that would save energy and money. Your consultant will identify any potential health and safety issues during the initial assessment. They will need to be addressed before any energy efficiency improvements can be made through the program.
After the assessment, you will receive a report listing recommended measures, along with financial incentives available to help you pay for the recommended improvement work*.
